Chevrolet Corvette Continues its Dominance: Q2 2023 Insights

The iconic Chevrolet Corvette doesn't just race ahead on the tracks; it's also speeding ahead in sales. In the fiercely competitive sports car segment, the Corvette has displayed a remarkable feat during Q2 2023. With a whopping 57 percent command of the segment, it's clear that the Corvette remains a favorite choice among enthusiasts and casual drivers alike.

With a commendable six percent increase from the previous year, the Corvette boasted a sales figure of 9,125 units.

Trailing behind, Porsche secured the second and third positions with its flagship models. The 911 experienced a modest three percent growth, reaching 3,140 units, roughly one-third of Corvette's figures. Meanwhile, the 718 witnessed a substantial 20 percent hike, culminating in 1,152 units.

It's essential to highlight a crucial observation. Many models within this segment bear heftier price tags than the Corvette, usually leading to their lesser sales volume. However, this price disparity seems to be narrowing. With the introduction of the track-geared 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, its starting price surpasses the $100K mark. This shift underscores the brand's intent to mesh luxury with unmatched performance.

It certainly is a great time to be a Corvette owner!
